TERA Console servers for both NA and EU will be merging servers again (in their respective region for each platform) on May 20th. The same information applies as per the prior server merge.
For PC TERA (NA), EME is going to be adding it to their new launcher soon. The benefits include better patch management/deployment, ability to manage player facing functions like applying codes easier, the ability for EME to have event servers (other regions have been doing this for awhile now including leveling event servers and more recently, the classic server).
Finally, patch v81 (Skywatch Companions) has been released and includes the new pet partner/companion system.
