This trailer of the Raiden Shogun character demo (especially the following Japanese dub) is just incredible.
I’ll be pulling for her on three different accounts. On my completely free to play AR55 account, it has around 14K primogems. On my other AR55 (close to dinging AR56) account (which has been mostly lucky with the exception of failing on Zhongli twice), I have around 34K primogems. I also did a quick (what was supposed to be only 10 wishes) pull yesterday on Yoimiya’s banner and ended up getting Yoimiya and Sayu in the first 8 pulls (note that my last pull was when I got Ayaka). That effectively reset my pity but it doesn’t matter since I have enough primogems to get Raiden Shogun (and hopefully a few Sara’s).
On my self-capped AR35 (which I’ll finally be ascending towards the tail end of September), I have 36K primogems and a large reserve of Genesis Crystals (I took advantage of the double bonus since miHoYo officially announced they would be resetting that bonus with the 2.1 update; this is the only time I will purchase gems and have no intention of splurging through them since I want that reserve to last). I pulled on Yomiya’s banner several weeks ago when it went live and got lucky there; I got Yoimiya and was able to C5 Sayu. I also finally got Keqing on this account (I know she isn’t the strongest but I enjoy her playstyle). My pity was also reset since I ended up hitting hard pity for Yoimiya. But I’ll also be able to get Raiden Shogun (hopefully it will be earlier and not losing the 50/50 since I want to have enough reserves for Ganyu on this account during her rerun).
Overall, I am really happy where my accounts are; though it’s becoming more difficult to play 3 different accounts now that Inazuma is actually live. I’m keeping up with the Inazuma quests only on my self-capped AR35 (I’ve only done a smattering of the MSQ and world quests on the other two accounts and have barely farmed the new mats on those two). I know that once Lost Ark launches, I’m going to have to sacrifice putting time into the free to play AR55. And if miHoYo begins narrowing the gap between region releases, I may need to end up focusing on just one account.
But digressing back to 2.1, I’m looking forward to the seeing how the story goes for this region (and being able to finally play Raiden Shogun).
