The final countdown begins with just 60 more hours remaining (as of this entry) until TERA officially sunsets on June 30th (Thursday) at 10AM CEST (Europe), 4AM EST, 3AM CST, 1AM PST, and 10PM Alaska/Hawaii on June 29th (K-TERA shuts down on June 30th at 23:59 local time and will have an in-game event where goodbye messages from players sent to the appropriate GM on each server, will be broadcast from 19:00-21:59).
Gameforge has not announced any sort of in-game gathering point so players are devising their own plans; though is it expected most players will end up gathering in Highwatch closer to the actual shutdown.
Given the proliferation of rogue/private servers as well as those of us running TERA offline (resulting from the leaking of the official server binaries for older builds of the game), the official shutdown is somewhat bittersweet in that regards (I know for myself that neither Gameforge or Krafton/Bluehole are going to be missed).
