I didn’t want to play S3 longer than I needed to since they had removed all the regular achievements (I was planning to play the same way I did S2 which was to do a mix of campaign, adventure, and knocking out achievements). Since the majority of the S3 ones revolve mainly around rifting, I had no desire to just focus on that BS.
Once I hit 70, I quickly put together a T1 starter set and ran T1 rifts to get at least one trial key. Once I got that, I did the 1-14 G-rifts to get all the legendary gems plus more gear. My drops were rather terrible for those runs.
I ran several more T1 rifts to get more trial keys (enough so that I could at least level 6 gems to rank 5).
Most of the rest my S3 play was completely dysfunctional since I brute forced the limits of my gear several times (especially in the beginning when I did the T1-T4 bosses and regular rift completions). I did the T5 one with slightly better gear and ended up doing a T6 rift very undergeared. That one took around 25 minutes just to get the RG to spawn; I ended up getting Saxtris which took another 15 minutes of kiting.
I also completed the Shadow’s Mantle set (4-piece) and Natalya’s set today. I ran the GR15 for those points and got the portrait unlocked.
