Considering time zone differences where it’s already early evening on the east coast and already Halloween evening across Asia, the lack of an announcement at this juncture probably means no event this year. The Heroes of the Storm event is probably the focus to get more folks interested in that franchise heading into BlizzCon and it’s e-sport angle.
So it looks like those series of images weren’t teasers after all.
