Having a lot of fun playing this new class and learning the combo’s. Compared to my ninja at the same level, this class just smashes through enemy mobs (the combat also feels far more satisfying by comparison). Seriously wished I had more time to level in the first 48 hours in order to get at least one of the titles.
Also enjoying all the rewards from the codes En Masse Entertainment gave away this past weekend during their Glaiveathon. Having a decent publisher makes a world of difference. It’s really too bad that the timing of the Ginno Games acquisition by Bluehole wasn’t earlier since Devilian could’ve ended up being published by En Masse (which is a subsidiary of Bluehole) instead of Trion Worlds (Trion was probably in negotiations with Ginno Games well before the acquisition).
Devilian wouldn’t have turned into this blatant cash grab nor would it have been neglected to the extent it has been due to the publisher (En Masse Entertainment) being a direct subsidiary of the parent studio. While Ginno had the latitude to decide where their resources went, there would’ve also been a differing prioritization due to the publisher relationship as a whole. With Trion, there is almost no incentives beyond the original publishing deal for Bluehole Ginno.
