There’s a bunch of guilds (including some multi-game ones) already recruiting over on the official MU Legend Discord.
The IP based region lock is going to cause problems for some who were expecting to play together from their current games though. There is no way to reset that since it was determined based on the initial account creation and login. The only workaround is to create a new account from the proper region (so someone who is located in Asia that wants to play on the America region, would need to use a VPN with a North/South American gateway).
It’s not known if South American players will only be able to play on the South American server (Webzen did mention in some of the comments on their official FaceBook page that there would be servers specifically for that part of the world). There’s generally not a lot of specific details as to how the various servers in each region will interoperate (like will they operate independently or will there be cross server queues for things like dungeons, PvP, GvG, etc).
Myself, this is a game I will be playing casually. It’s just not compelling enough to pull me away from the MMO’s I am sinking most of my time into. But I will also be taking things into my own hands and running/leveling my own guild since I know very well how the dynamics will change over time.
