AFK events like this always brings back a ton of players (before they disappear again until the next event). I now appreciate even seeing a hundred players (though TERA usually re-populates into the several hundreds-thousand-plus range across its most populated servers like Mount Tyrannus and Tempest Reach during these type of events) in any of these MMO’s even if they are AFKing because it is way better than seeing/hearing virtually no one.
UPDATE: The Allegiance event needed to be changed since EME was unable to get it to work on the live servers. It has been instead changed to a daily login reward as outlined here. The Jiangshi Hat cosmetic has also been swapped with a Puppy Pound mask and Puppy Pound smart box to celebrate the Year of the Dog (the Jiangshi Hat will be changed to another event in the future).
