High population servers were locked today in advance of Friday’s official launch. This of course creates problems for players who opted out of the 3-day headstart, to potentially be unable to play with family/friends who are on a now locked server.
AGS locked these higher population servers to reduce the queue times (in addition to making sure the servers themselves remain stable). Some players who were experiencing long queue times on day 1, decided to reroll on a lower population server, but had already claimed their packs on the higher population one.
AGS decided to perform a one time only grant of another founder pack (of the same type already purchased) that can be claimed on a new server. This may also entice some folks to switch to one of the lower population servers (including the new ones being spun up for Friday) so that they can play together with friends/family who may only be starting.
Day 2’s (Thursday) peak concurrency was 507,123 players. Friday’s and this weekends numbers with completely free to play players are likely going to be close to a million (and have a good shot at exceeding that).
CLARIFICATIONS
The original posting by AGS was not completely clear to many players including myself. This second grant is not the exact same as the original. The following is what will be happening.

The 30-day’s of Crystalline Aura Benefits is not included since it is already account wide. Similarly, the original Royal Crystal’s are account wide (the above are additional amounts being granted). The silver, materials and ascent crates are not part of this grant.
Anyone who has stacked any combination of the packs will receive additional grants per the above.
AGS also confirmed (in this forum thread) that the skins, mount, and pet can be redeemed on the server you are already playing on (it does not require playing on another server).
* = Both Founder’s Title and Founder’s Exclusive Wallpaper are Roster wide (aka server specific) so IF they are used on the same Roster where a pack has already been redeemed, you will not be able to use these items.
