Pmang (Japan) is temporarily increasing the drop rate from Exodor mobs by 50% and also running an enchanting event (to boost the success rate – percentage over base not specified). Number of channels were also increased (the problem is the design of some maps were it’s way too easy for other players running by, to pull mobs into the ones you are doing). The publisher will be monitoring and working with Bluehole/Krafton to resolve issues (yeah, right). Bad machine translation below.
Gameforge is running a temporary event until November 20th which also increases the drop rate by 50%, bonus dungeon drops, additional Vanguard bonuses, and additional daily rewards.
En Masse Entertainment has only a 25% increase drop rate for Exodor open world mobs and Akalath Quarantine dungeon along with a daily login event (for Exodor related items) running from November 1 until the 21st.
While these temporary measures are better than nothing, it doesn’t solve the ridiculous RNG heavy aspects or the generally unfun and unrewarding feeling of the update. The amount of feedstock for EME’s daily login are simply a joke and an insult since they aren’t running an enchanting event unlike the Japanese publisher.
I think I am close to hitting my limits with these Korean MMO studios, their bullshit designs, and their incompetent publishers.
