The Southeast Asian publisher of TERA (Playwith SEA) posted a teaser on their Facebook page regarding a cosmetics collaboration with PUBG where there will be PUBG costumes available in TERA. Both games are Bluehole (Krafton) franchises (PUBG Corp is a subsidiary of Krafton).
It is unclear if this tie up will be exclusive to the SEA region.
I also hope this does not mean a precursor to a battle royale mode for the game since I see no need for TERA to jump on an already overdone trend. BUT I also realize there might be that possibility given the KRAFTON Game Union objectives…UPDATE: Playwith SEA has posted details about the collaboration and the cosmetic items. The “PUBG Pan” will be a back slot cosmetic (it’s too bad more effort isn’t being put in to make an actual funny emote where the character can do a swinging motion with the pan and if actually contacting an object including another player, making a “pong” sound).
En Masse Entertainment has also posted a teaser of a pending announcement (in their “this week in TERA blog for the week of Feb 18-25) which is basically this PUBG collaboration based on the graphic (below).
