Ascent: Infinite Realm Prologue Gameplay

Steparu posted the prologue/initial tutorial gameplay for A:IR (from the lead in to the opening of the first CBT which started in Korea).  The prologue zone has everyones character starting as a child version of the character they created.

Combat uses assistive (tabbed) targeting instead of action combat (TERA’s action combat is my personal preference so I’m not sure how much I will enjoy A:IR).  The TERA influence can be seen in the early flight sequence but the color palette isn’t as vibrant giving the visuals a bit more subdued look.  Unlike TERA, most character models skew towards the more realistic versus the fantasy.

The game world does have a day/night cycle which was one of the things that I found a bit immersion breaking in TERA.  I’m curious to see if there is some weather included.
