Ascent: Infinite Realm – Character creation/customization

Ignore what I wrote in the prior posting about character models skewing towards the more realistic versus fantasy.  A:IR includes a wide array of character appearance customizations as shown in these videos by Steparu.

There are some base presets to select from which also reveals more elf-like appearances.  Going into the more detailed option, players have an array of sliders to make more granular adjustments.  Basically, this is similar to ArcheAge (but with more adjustments allowed for height, head size, bust/hips) and Black Desert Online (probably the king in this area) where you can spend a significant amount of time playing this character customization meta versus actually starting the game.

One can obviously create some pretty troll level looking characters for the laughs (there’s some troll worthy hair styles for the male character) or attempt to re-create a few of TERA’s iconic female races (just without the actual hair style, adornments like horns, animal ears, or tails).  It would be nice if there was a preset saver (ala ArcheAge) so that you don’t have to manually screenshot or video record all those settings.
