En Masse Entertainment and Bluehole have plans in place to conduct a technical test with a limited pool of participants who will be selected from the system survey that is being sent out. The company will be putting out more information next week but a company representative stated that the test pool will be intentionally small because the game is still in development and that there are some known issues associated with it.
This technical test does not constitute the actual console beta that was advertised earlier in the year. This wider beta will be happening in 2018 (with a much larger test pool) as opposed to this year (Bluehole is learning about the complexities of porting over to console which is a primary reason for the beta being pushed back into next year).
