Just the other day, I was sub-100K combat power (also non-inflated without lots of HP). Today, managed to hit 107K with a mix of legendary and ancient tier items (none enchanted yet since I’ve barely played at 65 to have enough materials), plus crap gems (only created slots in my ancient pieces), the starter Growth artifact (since I haven’t had enough time to grind the labyrinth for fragments to craft the actual one I want to use). All solo so it isn’t that much a problem getting a character past certain limits. Additionally, part of my initial focus with my soul levels is on cooldown reduction.
From here on out, it’s easy to see how much of the grind for currency and materials is limited by daily runs without alts (the above is with Platinum service which is from the Frontier pack). Some components (like artifact fragments) are character bound but the labyrinth has no limits on runs. Most of the other mission map objectives are pretty much repetitive in terms of non-random content (same layout and bosses for example). There are currently 3 Mythic difficulty rift dungeons (the last dungeon on each continent) subject to the daily entry limits while the highest tier gear in the game (Epic) drops in a single daily entry epic dungeon which also has a combat power gate (95K-ish minimum).
Again, the way around the entry limits is via alts and with a limit of 3 per server, that is where their monetization comes into play (since you need unbound Redzen to open up additional slots). While unbound Redzen can be earned by selling items on the trade broker, you need to be able to farm higher end game content.
