I have found my playing time stretched to the limits recently with all of these upcoming updates (Path of Exile beta events, ArcheAge 3.5, Necromancer beta, Kritika CBT, etc). I’ve put aside Soul Worker Online for the time being (latency related) until later in the year when I am back in Japan.
I haven’t even touched the Diablo III Necromancer beta since last week and played only the first day of Kritika’s Online CBT.
ArcheAge is what it is and there is going to be a lengthy XP grind to open up Ancestral skills. I may just end up playing on PTS instead of live once 3.5 launches because I am going to need to wait for double XP events to get anywhere on my live character.
Devilian has been something I stopped putting time into since April (only logging in after the update to get the rewards) since a bunch of us decided to take a hiatus except to occasionally run tower to get to 60 (though it may be for naught if none of us actually resume playing later).
I personally have no interest in this power creeped filler for the next half year and if they do (as rumored from source) just continue this lazy setup past 60 (and withholding unique tier until 70), then it will be awhile before any of us consider returning. There is little fun left in the route they are taking to try and milk what they can to at least salvage the remainder of the publishing contract.
To be honest, both Erenor 3.5 (for ArcheAge) and Castle of the Fallen 7.0 (for Devilian) represent a good time to finally move away from playing any Trion Worlds game; the following song from Metallica is fitting….
