Early Access and Founder’s pack purchasers have begun their 2-day head start before the game officially launches for everyone on December 10th @ noon PST.
There are 2 servers per region: Ravan and Asperon for North America, Segarro and Seadrift for Europe. Players can create characters on any server (character names are unique per region and not server). There has been some pre-launch debate as to whether or not this will split the population of players in each region since there currently isn’t any cross server linking (important for things like guilds, PvP, partying up, friends list).
I created all my main characters on Ravan as well as two others over on Asperon. Per region, there can be only one unique character name (which should help with any future cross server linking).
And though there weren’t any major connectivity issues (like D3’s error 3007), there are some known issues. The game will officially launch for everyone on December 10th at noon PST.
