Leader of a “top competitive” Diablo III clan accidentally leaves bot running

It’s going to be interesting to see how Blizzard deals with this one.  Yes, there is video proof but they’ll also need their own observable evidence of said player botting given the way they deal with account actions.  Someone made the above and fast forwarded through parts of what was the original VOD (that has since been deleted after the streamer woke up around 4.5 hours later and shut off the stream).

The one thing I forgot to note before about ROS BOT is that it currently has one very trackable aspect to it when the character is in a town hub since it uses the waypoint as sort of a home location.  So any action performed in a town hub, has that character moving first to the waypoint, and then to the jeweler, mystic, blacksmith, Orek, Kadala, the stash, vendors, etc.  Given this one very obvious aspect of the software, it’s interesting that it hasn’t been subjected yet to a huge ban wave.

Anyway, all I can say is the shrill about botting is going to reach a fever pitch.
