Gold is not Bind on Account

Confirms what I noted earlier…. that it is merely restricted from being traded in the trade window.  2.0.1  items that are not soul bound, will also be sellable on the AH’s until they go offline in a couple of weeks as per the known issues note about 2.0.1 affixes not showing up in the preferred stats drop down menu.

Very messy in terms of not having the patch and AH shutdown coincide, but nothing surprises me anymore.  I mean, I know that 2.0.1 legendary/set items cannot be put up on the AH’s.  But loot 2.0.1 rares still can.

I’ve already posted before that I intended to level my mains from scratch in order to let the loot 2.0 system work for me.  As for the other classes, I was planning to do that later (though like vanilla, I probably am not going to play them as much).  Now that non-soul bound loot 2.0 items are going to be available on the AH’s, it’s going to just be easier for me, to get those off the AH’s (mainly to be eHP ready and not having to re-level those again).

The above is meant to be a perfect example of design conflicts (an ongoing hallmark of this team).  With loot 2.0 (and patch 2.0.1 in general), their idea was to not have players short circuit the entire reward and upgrade loop (you get that loot by killing monsters).  You achieve that by not allowing any mechanism to interfere with that purpose; which entails not having the AH’s involved in any form with loot 2.0 items.  Patch 2.0.1 should have represented a total clean break.  And they do this.  Simply illogical but par for the course with whatever clown is making all of these decisions.
