Stash Browser/Inventory Management (again)

This is one last try. It’s been requested many times before as a quality of life feature.

I decided to post this here in general discussion for maximum exposure. Upvote this post or discuss any improvements if you feel this is important enough for inclusion in the game. The request applies to patch 2.x (base game + expansion).
I created a simple mockup (didn’t want to spent a lot of time on it):

Proposal:
The auction house UI currently provides the ability to view ones shared stash, and each individual characters personal inventory. With the auction house functionality going away on March 18th, the assumption is that parts or all of that UI (Search, Sell, Auctions, Completed), will be disappearing. This also means there will no longer be a quick way to see your shared stash from outside a game session.

This feature request, is meant to re-use the sell tab functionality for use as a stash browser. Additionally, this request suggests providing a method for managing inventory, from this user interface for those who share items between their characters. The completed tab in the above mockup remains since I believe this is how they will be handling player items once the auction house is shutdown.
Currrently, one must first load a character in-game first, transfer the item(s) into the shared stash, leave game, switch hero, start a new game, and then transfer the item(s) out of the stash. This process needs to be repeated whenever you want to swap items intra-account.
While it may seem somewhat trivial that clicking that start/resume game button does just that, there are whole processes that do take place on the server (like load creating that instance, memory usage, etc) and like wise when leaving the game. Thus creating/leaving games just for this purpose wastes unnecessary server side resources.
The current 2.0.x client has the auction house button which leads me to believe the completed tab will remain to allow players to move those items, at their leisure once the auction house closes. This proposal at minimum, requests that parts of the sell tab UI be left intact as a stash and character inventory browser (see above image). <- AH button removed from 2.0.0.21962 client so the first sentence is no longer applicable.
The inventory management feature is a future quality of life request, which would allow item management outside of the creation of an actual game instance (like when you want to swap/use a piece of gear between any of your heroes – softcore and hardcore of course being isolated from each other). It would utilize the same click, drag, and drop (or right-click) used in-game to move items between shared stash and inventory, while clicking and dragging items is allowed to move items from one character to another.
