In tuning pass mode now

Patch 2.0 and expansion is clearly in tuning pass mode now with some buffs, but mostly nerfs to class skills.  The one that has many in a nut though is the reduction of Paragon Critical Hit Chance (10% to 5% maximum with 50 points).  That 10% was already underwhelming.  5% after 50 Paragon Points = broken record (clueless development team).  Issue again comes down to not fixing itemization in the first place (where trifecta still rules the roost).

Basically, not that much meaningful choice early on here when it comes to Offense; better to just dump Paragon points into Critical Hit Damage first (bigger bang for the points); it’s the first thing I did just to give them data points how they are not solving anything.

Update: APoC reduction on loot 2.0 items is currently being tested.  Similarly, WD mana and barbarian fury regen have also seen reductions.  Basic reasoning is to get players to utilize signature spells and to think about when to utilize their resource spenders.  This actually doesn’t affect me because I’ve been playing that way anyway (alternating signature skill and then resource spender).  Still, it’s yet another nerf for many other players.
