Reaper of Souls – Balance and Tuning Issues

The balance issues aren’t that difficult to address as are the bugged skills that are causing unintended damage (they plan on addressing those bugged skills in an upcoming patch; maybe that one might be rolled out in todays RoS server maintenance).
The fact that some folks have found ways to trivialize a not even tuned Torment VI, is a good thing heading into closed beta.  The more broken skills and mechanics that are found, the better they will be able to address them, and thus provide a better baseline for balancing those skills, and then fine tuning each difficulty.  Like it’s clear DoT effects are way out of balance at the moment because those effects are doing a bit more damage on each difficulty setting (and appears out of line with other forms of damage).
I believe they can hit their target date of limited closed beta by the end of December (dependent of course on how much feedback and statistics they are having to go through).
