I previously noted the possibilities of hardcore related death from high latency or disconnects here even though I hadn’t personally experienced one yet.
My wizard had her feet superglued to the ground earlier this morning…. (sigh)
Video of some nice in-place rubberbanding which happened shortly after I had taken out an elite pack (vortex/frozen/desecrator and some other affix I don’t remember).
Recently (like in the last week), I’ve been seeing these sudden 10-15 second lag spikes (1000+ms). My network monitoring software logged 0% packet loss to servers inside my ISP’s network and to some of Akamai’s nearby CDN edge servers during each of these instances. This mornings one was the worst because it looked like my client completely de-synced with the server.
